I think the story kind of transends the cost, though it is a little steep, sure. I've watched Clannad at least 3 or 4 times and when I saw that it was released on steam I bought it immediately. Little Busters got released too!? Gonna have to buy that soon. So I'm sure it is one of the reasons why Little Busters, recently released by Key, is only 34.99. The price was a sticking point for a lot of people. I got Clannad on sale, and if you are interested in reading it, I'd advise waiting for it to go sale too. I've played VNs with much worse art that were still pretty good. The art actually is not that bad, at the very least you get used to it after a bit of reading. Clannad is a long visual novel that can easily take more than 50+hours to complete.This game is fully voiced, and a big reason why most of the VNs cost what they do.
